Rene Pellerin lives in Vermont with his wife Joan of over 30 years, who also serves as his interpreter. Rene’s professional career includes a long history of work with the deaf community, and he was instrumental in the passage of laws supporting the needs of of members of the deaf community and sign language interpreters throughout Vermont. Today, he works as a popular ASL storyteller and comedian, and helps iCanConnect as a trainer and advocate. At the “50 plus and Baby Boomers Expo” in Burlington this year, Rene shared information about himself ­and what he values most about iCanConnect.
