ND Assistive
North Dakota Assistive administers iCanConnect for the state. ND Assistive is a non-profit organization that strives to bring assistive technology of all types into the lives of all North Dakotans, regardless of age, needs, or disability.
At ND Assistive, we believe There Is No Impossible and that assistive technology can help bridge the gap between ability and disability. ND Assistive provides public awareness opportunities, equipment demonstrations and training, and individualized assistive technology assessments.
As the lead agency for iCanConnect in North Dakota, ND Assistive works with various state partners to distribute communications equipment and provide training to low-income North Dakotans with combined hearing and vision loss. Braille devices, smartphones, amplified phones, and much more are available at no cost to those who qualify.
